How to use this

Twelve questions, and nowhere to hide

Most self development asks you to add something. More discipline, more routine, more motivation. This does the opposite. It asks you to look at what is already there.

The M.A.D.E. Model breaks that down into four pillars: Morals, Ambitions, Drivers and Environments. What you value, what you want, what is really pushing you, and what is going on around you. Between them they explain most of why you do what you do.

There are three questions per pillar. Your answers save automatically in this browser, so you can stop and come back. Nothing is sent anywhere, and nobody else sees them. That is the point. Be honest, because the useful answers are usually the uncomfortable ones.

Morals
What you actually value, as opposed to what you were told to value.
Ambitions
Whether the goal is yours, or somebody else's expectation you took on.
Drivers
The fear and resistance quietly deciding what you do and do not start.
Environments
The people, places and habits shaping you whether you notice or not.
Pillar 1 of 4

Morals

Your values change quietly, and most people never stop to check. This is where you find out whether the ones you still claim are the ones you are actually living by.

1
What personal values do you still claim to live by, and do your current actions reflect them?
Saved
2
Which beliefs about yourself or the world no longer feel true, yet still shape your decisions?
Saved
3
Where in your life are you compromising your integrity to avoid discomfort or maintain familiarity?
Saved
Pillar 2 of 4

Ambitions

Plenty of people are working very hard towards something they never actually chose. This is where you check whose goal you are chasing.

4
If success was guaranteed, what would you truly want to pursue, and what is stopping you?
Saved
5
What goal are you currently working towards that no longer excites or fulfils you?
Saved
6
Whose voice do you hear when you think about who you should be, and does it feel like yours?
Saved
Pillar 3 of 4

Drivers

Fear rarely announces itself. It shows up as being busy, being tired, being realistic. This is where you name what is really running the show.

7
What is your biggest fear about succeeding, and how is it affecting your effort?
Saved
8
When you procrastinate or give up, what emotion or thought is usually behind it?
Saved
9
What story do you keep telling yourself that might be protecting you from growth?
Saved
Pillar 4 of 4

Environments

You are not just who you are. You are also where you are, and who you are around. This is where you look at what your surroundings are doing to you.

10
Who in your life drains your energy, confidence, or focus, and why do you still allow it?
Saved
11
What physical or digital environment pulls you off track more than it helps?
Saved
12
What consistent habits or routines are keeping you small, safe, or stuck?
Saved
That is the audit

Your answers are more
than reflections.
They are clues.

Clues about where you have been settling. Clues about what is actually possible once you stop running on outdated rules, borrowed goals and quiet fear.

Reading them back is the first useful thing. The next is understanding where the pattern came from.
