welcome
I’m Johnny Lawrence,
A behavioural change specialist, motivational speaker and podcaster.
I specialise in working with individuals and teams facing pivotal challenges. Perhaps you feel like you're in a cycle of frustration, weighed down by emotions like fear, inadequacy, or vulnerability.
You might sense that your current way of living or operating is unsustainable, but you’re unsure how to make a shift.
Whether you’re a professional seeking clarity, a business looking to improve team well-being, or someone yearning for personal growth, my approach is designed to guide you toward real, actionable solutions.
The heart of my work is helping you to
translate your emotions into insights
Emotions, when understood, are powerful guides.
They reveal what’s holding you back and illuminate the path forward. By creating a space where you can consult with yourself, I help you uncover these insights, gain clarity, and take meaningful steps toward the life or outcomes you truly desire.
My Story
My journey into this work is deeply personal. Growing up, I faced a turbulent childhood marked by domestic abuse and physical violence.
These early experiences left me grappling with feelings of fear and inadequacy. But over time, I came to understand that these emotions didn’t have to define me, instead, they could guide me.
I developed a heightened sense of emotional intelligence through years of self-discovery, education, and resilience.
This awareness has been instrumental in my personal growth and has become the foundation of my client work.
Today, I use my experiences to help others unlock their potential, find clarity, and achieve “emotional freedom”- the ability to live a life aligned with their values, free from the constraints of unexamined emotions and limiting beliefs.
The Slavery of Addiction
directed by Ryan Mackfall, is a raw, personal documentary following The Self Development Coach, Johnny Lawrence, from trauma and addiction to sobriety. Through unfiltered storytelling, it explores his past of domestic violence, alcohol dependency, and the resilience that led to recovery.
Released on Johnny’s fourth sobriety anniversary, the film is more than a story of hardship, it’s a celebration of freedom and hope. Honest and empowering, it serves as both a personal triumph and an inspiration for others seeking transformation.
